Dianne Lund has a great eye for the land and nature of the Boreal Forest and Parkland of Southeastern Manitoba. She’s lived in Winnipeg, St. Martin, Gypsumville and in the shadow of Whiteshell Provincial Park since she began her career as an artist in 1975.
Dianne has studied oil painting at Symposium School of Art, and taken a year of Graphic Art at Red River College, but her unique style in watercolours is entirely self-taught. She is a keen observer, and has also benefited from her kindhearted ministry to injured and orphaned animals and the study of their behaviour and attitudes while under her care.
Her paintings have sold widely through Canada and internationally, and have won awards in juried shows. Ducks Unlimited have selected some of her works in their print program, and her watercolour Kostelnyk’s Farm Intruder was chosen as the 2004 Manitoba Ducks Unlimited Sponsor Print.
She works in a variety of media, including oils, acrylics, and watercolour. Her stone owls are delightful additions to any woodland home. Keep an eye here for new arrivals and updates on what we have available for sale!
