This lovely vintage creamer and sugar bowl would be perfect for tea for two on a crisp autumn afternoon.
A.J. Wilkinson is one of the famous Staffordshire potteries, and their trademark Honeyglaze adds a lovely golden warmth to the pieces in this set. Among the artists and designers the company employed was the famous Clarice Cliff. This particular design will remind those who know her work of her Honolulu and Solitude patterns, which used this pattern (9596) to develop the later ones for her Biarritz shape range.
I love the early Art Deco feel these two pieces have!
Wilkinson Honeyglaze Creamer (3″ tall, 3.75 from lip to handle tip) and Sugar Bowl (2′ tall, 3.5″ wide), c. 1930. $20.00
