Inkling for a Book

Inkle weaving is a Scandinavian form of the art, performed on a very simple loom. The warp is wound right onto the loom, and the shuttle acts as the beater. Patterns can be simple stripes created through plain weaving, or the weaver may pick up threads to create more complex patterns.

Our master Inkle Weaver had a stroke last November, so we are down to our last few of her hand-woven bookmarks. Get them while they last!
